S1E15 -My Road to 43 Years Old - Turning The Table (with Carla B & 52 Friends)

There are moments in your life that simply take your breath away..in a good typa way!  This is one of them. Imagine being still while 52 others gift you feedback or share tidbits to you, about you.  Imagine their words being intertwined into the story that you are simultaneously telling of yourself, through a powerful interview, conducted by a close friend. Sounds uncomfortable right?

Imagine pointed questions, some of which make you feel vulnerable & others that have you talk aloud of your wins.  It’s my true journey to 43 years old and I am sharing the ups, downs, twists, and turns.  It was during these moments that I finally felt what Grandma Bea meant when she said, " you must find a way to smell your roses while you are here on this earth."  I must say that I am soooo grateful for each of you!

Coaching, Cocktails, & Conversations: The Podcast with Lolita E. Walker
In this episode, we talk fears, tears, my lowest moments, highest pinnacles, barriers still before me, how I've coped with grief and of course, I made a bit of time to celebrate wins in the midst of it all.  This episode turns the tables, in this unconventional year of 2020, for my 43rd birthday, where I'm being interviewed instead of being the interviewer. AHHHHH!! Are you ready? I sure am.

Confession: Recording and editing this eqpisode was such an emotional and fulfilling experience. Originally intended to feature clips of 43 listeners to help me celebrate 43 years of life, I included 52 of you, who left me the most amazing, heartfelt, & genuine messages! THANK YOU for taking the time. It means sooo much for so many reasons.

Here are 52 minutes for 52 folks & an interview-style story.  I LOVE IT!  and guarantee there are still nuggets for you to grab and apply to your everyday + times when you will grab a few laughs as well.

Thanks for being a part of my journey.
I appreciate you,
Lolita
